Doug Holmberg: Service Manager

Doug joined Volvo of Charlottesville in August 2010 as our new Service Manager. He's been in the car business since 1982 and brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the Volvo family. Doug is a native of Central Virginia and a big fan of UVA sports. He's been married for over 30 years and currently lives with his wife and their daughter in Lake Monticello.

 

Linda Cook: Master Service Advisor

Linda has been providing service at this dealership since April 2000. She is a Master Service Advisor. When she's not hard at work keeping our customers happy, Linda is an avid gardener and dog lover. In fact, her dog Chloe can sometimes be seen behind our service counter greeting customers.

Todd Cadle: Master Service Advisor

Todd joined Volvo of Charlottesville in August 2008, bringing many years of Volvo experience with him. He first started working with Volvo in October 2001, and has been an ASE Certified Master Service Advisor ever since. Todd spends his weekends with his son discovering the numerous mountain bike trails around the Charlottesville area.

 

Jay Babb: Master Service Advisor

Jay has been in the car business since he was 12 years old. He started out washing cars and worked his way up to owning his own service station and repair shop in Southern California. Jay joined Volvo of Charlottesville in December 2009. He is a Master ASE Technician and Service Advisor. He lives on Lake Anna and spends his free time boating and enjoying the water with his family.

 

Richard Moon: Shuttle Driver

Richard joined Volvo of Charlottesville in the Summer of 2009 after 3 1/2 years with our sister company, Colonial Auto Center. His job is key to our customers' satisfaction, providing free shuttle service to and from the dealership. Richard is a native of Charlottesville and spends his free time outdoors running and biking.

David Berberich: Shop Foreman / Volvo Expert

Dave has been the shop foreman at Volvo of Charlottesville since 1985. He is an Expert Level Volvo Technician and an ASE Advanced Level Specialist. Everyone in Dave's family drives Volvos including his children and his parents. He is pictured with a group of Girl Scouts, here to earn their Car Care badges. There is no one in Central Virginia who knows more about the inner-workings of a Volvo!

 

Tony Stargell: Expert Volvo Technician

Tony has been working on Volvos for over 17 years. He is a graduate of CATEC, an ASE Advanced Level Specialist and has achieved Volvo Expert status. Tony is a resident of North Garden, VA. He and his son both drive Volvo 850's.  

 

Brian Pugh: Master Volvo Technician

Brian is an ASE Advanced Level Specialist & Volvo Master Technician with many years of Volvo experience. He is a graduate of the Nashville Auto Diesel College and CATEC. He currently lives in Afton with his new wife, Lauren. Brian drives a Volvo 850 Turbo. 

 

Larry Morris: Certified Volvo Technician

Larry is a CATEC graduate with over 7 years of Volvo experience. He is a Certified Volvo Technician and a Master ASE Tech. Larry drives a Volvo S60 R and a Volvo 850 Turbo. His wife drives a Volvo V70 T5. They live in Albemarle County with their son, Landon.

 

Bill Black: Certified Volvo Technician

Bill joined Volvo of Charlottesville in May 2007. He came with more than 20 years of automotive experience. He is an ASE Master Tech, a Virginia State Inspector, and a Certified Volvo Technician.

 

Shawn Johnson: Certified Volvo Technician

Shawn has been with Volvo of Charlottesville since June 2006 when he graduated from Nelson County High School's Automotive Program. He is a Certified Volvo Technician and an ASE Certified Tech. Shawn lives in Faber, VA and drives a Volvo 850. 

 

Ed Geigan: Quality Volvo Technician

Ed has been working on cars since the 1970's. He joined Volvo of Charlottesville in August 2006, bringing with him years of import experience. He is an ASE Master Technician and lives in Crozet, VA. 

 

Chris Shannon: Certified Volvo Technician

Chris came to Volvo of Charlottesville in the Spring of 2004. He is a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College's Automotive Technology program and a VA State Inspector. When he's not turning wrenches here, Chris spends time with his son, Tucker. He is pictured with a group of local Girl Scouts, here to earn their Car Care badges. Chris drives a Volvo 850 turbo and a Volvo V70. 

 

Aaron Sanders: Master Technician 

Aaron joined us in March 2010. He is an ASE Certified Master Technician and a VA State Inspector. Aaron was previously shop foreman at an import service center and spent years working on vintage British racing cars. He's also a musician and artist.

 

Nick Johnson: Technician Apprentice 

Nick started working on cars with his dad when he was just 6 years old. By the time he was 12 he was turning wrenches on race cars. For the past 3 years, Nick has been with the Mazda racing team, traveling all over the country. He drives a Volvo V70. In 2011 he'll graduate from the Nelson County High School Automotive Program and hopefully become a full-time member of our team. We can't wait!

 

Arnell Booker: Detail Technician

Arnell is the man behind the scenes who keeps all our new and pre-owned Volvos looking good. He joined Volvo of Charlottesville in August 2005 and owns a number of Volvos including a 760, a 960 and an 850. Arnell lives in Fluvanna with his wife and five children.

 

Brian Miller: Detail Technician

Brian joined Volvo of Charlottesville in March 2005 after a number of years doing various jobs within the automotive industry. He is the team member who keeps our service customers' cars clean. Brian is an avid Redskins fan and lives in Buckingham, VA.
